The Montgomery County Pride Family is launching monthly in-person community meetups in safe, affirming spaces throughout Montgomery County. These events will bring together LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, and allies to build connections, foster belonging, and strengthen community engagement.

Each event will be hosted at local businesses that commit to being safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals. Businesses that participate will receive a Montgomery County Pride Decal and will be featured as an LGBTQIA+-friendly establishment in our community outreach efforts.

These meetups will serve multiple purposes:

• Community Building – A social space where LGBTQIA+ individuals and families can connect in a welcoming environment.

• Education & Outreach – Attendees will learn about the Montgomery County Pride Family, our programs, and how to get involved.

• Volunteer Training – Individuals interested in giving back can receive training on how to support our initiatives.

• Business & Allyship Recognition – We partner with businesses that publicly affirm and uplift LGBTQIA+ people, ensuring they are recognized as inclusive spaces.
